How the sketch was read

• Windows: the small rectangles on the outer walls
• Doors: swing leaves on partitions and rooms
• Ground entrances: north door and east door for the north unit, east door (beside the external bath) for the south unit

Ground floor: two separate units, north and south, each with bedroom, attached bath, hall and kitchen. Kitchens are on the east side. The external bathroom sits in front of the south kitchen.

First floor: master bedroom and child bedroom (both with attached bath) on the west, dining and kitchen on the south, and the open hall as a terrace on the north-east.

Steps: on the north side, facing east (you climb heading west), landing on a balcony on the west side. A door there leads into the first-floor bedroom, and from it to the terrace and dining.

Room sizes follow the numbers on the sketch (12 × 11 ft bedrooms, 9 ft hall, 8 ft kitchen, 4 ft baths). The sketch is not to scale, so positions of doors and windows are approximate.
